STRUCTURED TENT NEWEST ADDITION TO WICHITA’S SKYLINE

Brick+Mortar, Wichita’s Event Venue just erected the next generation of event space in the Wichita market.  The addition of a 6,000+ square foot structured tent rounds out their current suite of event spaces in the downtown Wichita Arena district.

Structure tents, also known as glass tents or clear tents provide guests with the feeling of being outside while enjoying the comforts of an indoor space.  The “sky box” as it has been named by owner Brandy Zogleman sits directly across Emporia Street from INTRUST Bank Arena and will be home to the Arena District’s hottest sports bar during the upcoming basketball tournament on March 15th and 17th.

“This is such an exciting time for us” shared Brandy Zogleman.  “Having a structured tent in our inventory is a goal we have had for several years.  When we moved to our current location in 2016, we knew the time and space was right to pull the trigger!  Everything came together perfectly to debut the structure during the tournament.”

While the tent will live at the Brick+Mortar venue and will be available for the community to rent on its own or in conjunction with Brick+Mortar’s industrial modern indoor space, it can also be rented and assembled at other locations.

“The great thing about our tent is that it can be assembled in various ways to accommodate the site and size of the group.” said Zogleman.

The newest addition to the skyline can be seen from the Kellogg overpass.  Production of the inside of the “the skybox” will begin this week with building of the stage, truss, video walls and over 10 televisions for the tournament. In addition, there will be a 30’ bar, multiple beer stations and 6 firepits. It will be designed for any weather in mind, providing a secure location, regardless of the Kansas weather.

For interview requests, please contact Brandy Zogleman at 316-260-8222.

Brick+Mortar is a unique event venue in the heart of downtown Wichita.  A century-old, 24,000 square foot property, Brick+Mortar has been redesigned as a special Wichita event venue, retaining its original character, but updated with modern conveniences.  Exposed brick and rafters are beautiful backdrops for any event.
